Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City have taken the positive step of launching their own pregame shows, broadcast on Facebook.
The move is a positive one following the dramatic reduction many FoxSports A-league content and football staff numbers.
Victory and City appear to have worked on the programs together with both shows sharing the same set and expected to share a similar basic format.
One must ask though, if both Melbourne Clubs collaborated on the project, why isn’t Western United also involved?
MVFCTV launched to 15k veiws on Facebook live ahead of their match against Western United, delivering club interviews and match-day lineups.
Although Facebook viewing figures are a little controversial the numbers should be encouraging for the club and its sponsors.
Hopefully other clubs and the FFA can follow suit and increase the quality and quantity of their internal media production.
