Tony Popovic has selected his first Socceroos Squad ahead of two important games in the world cup qualification process.
Massimo Luongo will return to the Socceroos after announcing his international retirement last season to help Ipswich secure promotion into the Premier League. The move seems to have paid off, with Ipswich now in the top tier and Luongo enjoying minutes on the pitch to become the only Australian to feature in the Premier League this season.
Popovic has selected a larger and more attacking squad which sees the return of Hrustic, Stamatelopoulos, Arzani and the notable inclusion of Nishan Velupillay.
Yengi will be missing from the line up, as will Nisbit who some may feel was hard done by not to be selected.
